Playground

The Playground is your personal coding workspace on Khoda. Create multi-file projects, experiment freely, and share what you build — all in the browser.

Who sees the Playground? It appears when your main learning path is a programming course. Learners on non-code paths won't see it in the menu.

Projects and files

Create projects from the Playground home. Each project has its own file tree — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and more depending on your path.

Save as you go. Keep a project private while you draft, or make it public when you want others to see it.

Free accounts start with up to 5 projects. Premium plans raise that limit — check pricing for current caps.

Live project sites

Public web and Tailwind projects get a real live site on project.khoda.app — a shareable link that works outside the editor.

Every project gets a unique link. Premium learners can also customize a friendlier @username/project_name style link from Edit project (spaces become underscores).

Public sites can be found by search engines. Private projects stay private — only you can open them.

Share from your Playground dashboard with your device's share sheet. You'll get a nudge when a public project hits 10, 20, 50, 100, 150 views, then every 50 after that.

Customize your editor tools

Drag tools between the main bar and the Tools tray to set up the editor your way — console, timer, import, and more. Your layout is remembered for next time. Use Reset tools in the tray if you want the defaults back.

Timer XP

While you code, a timer can award 5 XP every 5 minutes of active Playground time. It keeps running even if you hide the panel, so focused practice still counts.

On mobile, the timer pauses after long idle stretches to save battery. XP is applied on the server so it stays fair for everyone.

AI brainstorm

Stuck on an idea? Premium learners can use AI brainstorming from the Playground hub to sketch features, debug concepts, or plan a small app. Availability depends on your subscription.

Feedback on Khoda

Likes and comments on public projects help you get feedback without leaving the platform — alongside your live site link for people outside Khoda.
